Daniela and Luis met during
her first trip to Buenos Aires, in June 2005. What was supposed to be
Luis' last tanda for the night turned into two hours of dancing
together. The magical connection that they experienced that night led
them to share their tango paths. Daniela decided to leave her academic
career to join Luis as his tango partner. Luis left Buenos Aires to join
her in New York City, where they currently live. Luis' and Daniela's connection in the dance is admired by tango enthusiasts everywhere they go. Their dance is also recognized for the musicality and fluidity. In their teaching, they emphasize body awareness as the key for creating beautiful and natural movement within an effortless and comfortable embrace. They are praised for their dynamic, warm and hands-on attitude with their students. Born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Luis Bianchi started dancing tango in 1994. He is particularly known for his unmatched mastery in incorporating nuevo tango elements in close embrace. He studied with several tango masters, including Los Dinzel, Gabriel Angio and Natalia Games, Carlos Rivarola, Geraldine Rojas, and Javier Rodriguez, Osvaldo and Miguel Zotto, Chico Frumboli and Eugenia Parilla, Pablo Villaraza and Dana Frigoli. He has worked extensively as a tango instructor, trainer, performer and choreographer in Argentina, Brazil and Europe. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Daniela Pucci came to tango from a background in science and classical piano, which she has played for the last 20 years. She started dancing in 1999 and has studied with Valencia Batiuk, Melina Brufman and more extensively with Mariela Franganillo.
