The Summer of 2007 was magnificent.  Tropical flowers and beautiful landscaping added a lot more ambience to the tent which now sits on a new elevated slab with an unbelievable view.  New low voltage lighting added something special to the atmosphere.  The parking area was also lit this year allowing more people to park off road.   The number of newcomers increased significantly this summer with quite a few new friends from New York City.


 

 



Health Day News – February 13, 2008 –Researchers from Washington University in St. Louis compared the effects of exercise and tango on functional mobility of a group of Parkinson’s patients.  Both groups showed improvement at the end of the study but the people in tango showed a greater improvement in balance.  The researchers suggest that tango might be an appropriate form of exercise for patients with Parkinson ’s disease.
